It does not matter how old you are, Christmas is an exciting and magical time for most people. From when the Christmas items and decorations start appearing in shops from as early as August, the sense of anticipation will start building through the autumn months right up to Christmas Eve.
Many people will say that Christmas is predominantly a time for children. To see the sheer look of joy on their children's faces on Christmas morning will make any parents Christmas special.
Once the excitement subsides as the children open the last of their presents, parents will be looking to organise activities such as Pop the Balloons Party Games in order to keep them occupied. This will allow time for them to prepare the turkey and all the trimmings ready for the traditional Christmas dinner.
Traditionally after Christmas dinner many families will settle down to watch the Queen's speech, followed by a film or the seemingly endless soap operas that are screened throughout the Christmas period.
The more energetic families may choose to go for a walk or visit relatives and friends. Younger children will probably prefer to play with their new toys or games, whilst teenagers will be looking to retire to their room to play their latest electronic game.
